Billing Software Engineer

Location: Velizy, France (southwest of Paris)

Reports to: Platform Management Director & Lead Software Engineer
Countries to work with: Europe
Brands: Blizzard, World of Warcraft
Coordinates with:

• Blizzard HQ (Irvine/Los Angeles)
• Web Design/Editorial Team at Blizzard Europe

• Oracle database development in PL/SQL (packages, stored procedures...)
• Oracle database design (table design, view, optimization...)
• Java web developments interfacing with an Oracle database (Spring, Hibernate)

REQUIREMENTS

• Min. of 2 years of previous experience in software and database developments
• Experience with a procedural SQL language (PL/SQL, Transact-SQL, PL/pgSQL, SQL PL)
• Basic knowledge of Java web development (Java, JSP/Servlet, J2EE)
• Database design experience
• Fluent in English
• Able to work in a multi-lingual environment
• A strong motivation & high level of commitment
• Excellent relationship and teamwork skills
• Autonomy and rigor

PLUSES

• Experience with billing applications and maintenance of billing applications
• Good knowledge of frameworks for web development (Spring, Struts, Hibernate, Log4J)
• Strong knowledge of Apache/Tomcat
