Internal IS Technician
Our IT team is looking for a self-motivated and skilled BIIS technician. BIIS technicians are the first line of support for all IT-related issues. Job duties would include building, configuring, deploying, monitoring, modifying, and repairing local and remote computers. An ideal candidate would have expertise in computer hardware and would also possess an intermediate level of experience in troubleshooting OS and networking issues.
Location: Velizy, France (southwest of Paris)
Permanent work contract
Starting Date: Immediate
Reports To: BIIS Assistant Lead
Countries to work with: France, Ireland
Brands: Blizzard, World of Warcraft
RESPONSIBILITIES
- In charge of Helpdesk support to employees
- In charge of hardware deployment and maintenance
- In charge of account housekeeping and administration
- In charge of relationship with contractors for hardware and software replacement
- In charge of Backup rotation tape and reporting
- Make a weekly report to BIIS Senior Administrator
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong knowledge of PC Hardware
- Strong knowledge of Windows environment and Microsoft Office
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP and Network
- Good knowledge of DHCP/DNS
- Good knowledge of network printers
- A strong motivation and high level of commitment
- Excellent team working skills
- Autonomy and rigor are requested
- Fluent in English
PLUSES
- Knowledge of HP/COMPAQ/DELL
- Knowledge of VOIP technologies
- Knowledge of Apple Macintosh
- Bachelor's degree
- Driver licence
- Fluent in French
