The
Global Final will be held at the Media Park in Cologne, Germany. The
Media Park creates a strongly visual focal point in downtown Cologne
and includes the KölnTurm, one of Cologne's most prominent high-rises.
Designed by Canadian architect Eberhard Zeidler, the Mediapark was
inspired by the town hall square in Siena. Seven-storey blocks form a
semicircle around the square, which borders on an artificial lake. The
eye-catching Cinedom, a large domed cinema, is a magnet for the public.
